Dear Marla,

The timeless question of whether life has inherent meaning has intrigued philosophers and poets for centuries. While the answer often lies in individual interpretation, one prevailing notion is that individuals shape their own meaning. However, many Rubberists perceive fetish primarily as sexual augmentation, providing temporary pleasure without leaving a lasting impact. It's just good sex.  (OK, there are lots of exceptions!) To delve deeper into the realm of meaning, we propose exploring the concept of Latexistentialism. This philosophical perspective encourages individuals with fetishes, such as Rubberists, to harness the power of their desires as a catalyst for personal growth and self-actualization well beyond that of sexuality.

In a nutshell, Latextensialism means, basically, finding a goal of some kind that involves rubber fetish and your passion , and then working towards it.

Go find a "rubber mountain". Then climb it.

That's it.

The Nature of Fetish and Entertainment:

Fetish, often viewed as a form of entertaing augmentation to the sex act, can be compared to television or sports, captivating our attention and evoking emotions briefly. However, once the experience concludes, it usually fades into memory rather quickly without influencing our lives in any significant way. It was just good sex.It was ephemeral --- not long-lasting.  While there may be a modicum of meaning within the act of sexual love, fetish alone rarely contributes to long-term personal development or self-improvement. Genuine meaning arises from experiences that propel us forward, help us grow, and lead to self-actualization.

Redefining Fetish: A Path to Self-Actualization:

Conventional fetishism seldom fosters personal growth or progress. It lacks the transformative power necessary for individuals to ascend the metaphorical mountain of self-discovery. Engaging in fetishistic behaviors does not contribute significantly to the development of skills or lead us towards becoming the best versions of ourselves. Merely indulging in fetishistic tendencies without seeking personal evolution ultimately hinders the journey towards self-actualization.

Acceptance and the Power of Fetish:

If you find yourself drawn to the world of fetishism, acceptance becomes a crucial step towards living a more fulfilling life. Recognize that your fetish is an intrinsic part of who you are, deeply intertwined with your sexuality. As a potent force, sexuality profoundly influences our thoughts, emotions, and actions. It is an innate aspect of human existence, particularly during our younger years when hormonal surges shape our lives.

Harnessing the Power of Fetish:

Rather than relegating fetish to a realm of fleeting pleasure, we propose embracing Latexistentialism—an ideology that aims to utilize the energy and influence of fetish to imbue other aspects of our lives with purpose and meaning. Think of your fetish as a catalyst, a conduit, or fuel that can drive personal growth and enhance your journey towards self-actualization. While sexual experiences hold value, the latent power within your fetish can be redirected to power new practices in various areas of your life.

It's part of the journey to becoming all that you can be.   The stronger your fetish is, the more it will become your path to the realization of your personal potential, self-fulfillment and growth.

Conclusion:

Latexistentialism offers a fresh perspective for individuals with fetishes, such as Rubberists, to discover meaning beyond mere sexual perfomance. By embracing the latent power of fetish and channeling it into endeavors that foster personal growth and self-actualization, individuals can find purpose and fulfillment in their lives. Rather than remaining confined to the boundaries of conventional fetishism, the exploration of Latexistentialism provides a path towards a more meaningful existence.
